Spectrum Illumination was founded in 1999 by David & Naomi Muyskens. They believed they could deliver a better lighting solution for the machine vision industry at a lower cost. This idea grew with time, and Spectrum Illumination now prides itself on providing customers with excellent service, smart lighting solutions, and the full package. This means when you order a Spectrum Illumination light you have everything you need to get it up and running. All signature Monster Lights come standard with light, controller, and cable.
Spectrum Illumination’s products include backlights, dome lights, linear lights, diffused axial lights, oxy lights, ring lights, spotlights, and several washdown options. Machine Vision Direct offers their patented LDM controllers and cables. You’ll find replacement parts available as well!

Many newer products are outfitted for convenience with a built-in driver. These include the E-Series and the Xtreme Monster series lights.
The E-Series was created as a budget-friendly line, while the Xtreme Monster Series was designed for applications that require high-intensity light. Both offer lightweight aluminum housings, making them robot-friendly. Each line offers a spotlight option, the ES40 and the XS40, and several linear light sizes.
